Function as a bridge between different stakeholders. i.e. corporates, NGOs, industry associations and other stakeholders
District CSR Co-ordination Committee
Under the leadership of the District Collector and the District Development Officer (DDO), a District CSR Co-ordination Committee has been formed which includes all senior government officers in charge of priority sectors i.e. education, health & nutrition, livelihood, infrastructure and support for underprivileged/weaker section. Heritage development is slated to be included in the next phase.
Formulate guidelines for the functioning of the CSR committee.
Review goals, initiatives and practices for social responsibility. The committee will finalise & continuously review the agenda.
Finalise areas of intervention in consultation with various, government departments, NGOs and corporates.
Extend help in idea conceptualisation, proposal development & liaison with implementing agencies for corporates willing to take up projects.
Review and make recommendations on project proposals submitted by government departments, NGOs and corporates.
Monitor and review the effectiveness of the projects implemented on a quarterly basis.
District Core Group
A district core group which includes industry representatives and NGOs along with government officials, has also been formed for aiding the district CSR co-ordination committee in planning, monitoring and facilitating district CSR activities undertaken by different companies in a more coordinated manner.
Identify and develop projects which can be implemented centrally or by different corporates.
Support designing of district-level projects.
Support and guide CSR Co-ordination Committee for the development of implementation and monitoring formats.
Support documentation of projects under the purview of District CSR Co-ordination Committee and being undertaken by various corporates.
Meet monthly to discuss the progress of District CSR Co-ordination Committee and submit its feedback to the District Collector.
Corporates
Appoint a dedicated team having experience of social sector for planning, designing & implementation of CSR projects in its nearby villages.
Take up projects for in the areas mentioned in draft rules, preferably in priority areas decided collectively by District CSR Co-ordination Committee.
Corporates are also welcome to come up with innovative modus-operandi or schemes for translating CSR concepts into action.
Share innovative projects or best practices in CSR with other corporate committee members to create an environment of knowledge sharing and meaningful dialogue
Corporates can contribute to the development of the district through four mechanisms.
Participate in central projects identified by the District CSR Co-ordination Committee. Implement CSR activities which supplement and/or dovetail with existing government schemes and projects.
Implement CSR by assigning it through reputed NGOs of their choice working in social sector Implementing CSR activities through their own CSR team.
Industry Associations

Taking up joint CSR initiatives as an association.
Facilitate and co-ordinate CSR activities of its members.
Take-up regular discussion of priorities of District Core Co-ordination Committee in their association meetings.
